Mystic Powers Surrounding Blarney Castle and Rock Close

All visitors to Blarney Castle, its famous stone and the mystical gardens of Rock Close are over whelmed by its ancient history and its enchanted features. For many of them, however, it is not the Stone but Rock Close that so moves them. Landscaped around many timeless features in the eighteenth century, this is truly a garden from a fairy tale.
You may be interested to know that many people who have taken rocks away from this area and brought them home from their vacation, have written to us here, at Blarney Castle, claiming that they have been plagued with the worst luck! Many of them mailing the rocks back to us to be placed in there original position!
All rocks have been returned and we hope that those people go forth with the 'Luck of the Irish'!
